VBH Group
As the top-selling European enterprise for fittings and mountings (top line 2006: € 783.2 m) and as German’s market leader, the VBH Group allows for an extensive and special distribution and logistics system for technical industries, essentially for producers of windows and doors made of plastics, timber, aluminium and steal as well as the furniture processing business. Thus the VBH Group operates as a connection between producing and processing industries. The range of products of VBH includes fittings and mountings for windows, doors, furniture, tools and machines as well as for safety features and equipment, and fire protection requirements. The VBH Group acts as a go-between for about 700 fittings and mountings producers on the one hand and more than 30,000 purchasers on the other hand. The basic market is Germany with 19 sales departments and 10 stocks. However, the foreign markets with a share of sales of about 50 % get more and more significance. The enterprise is represented in West Europe since the eighties and since the early nineties also in East Europe. Via joint ventures and self-established branches the VBH Group can be found in the markets of Asia (China, Singapore and Dubai) as well as in Australia. The operational business consists of the sections Germany, overseas business (in West and East Europe) and metal engineering/objects.
